PlantHive goes to Eisenwarenmesse 2018!

Last week, we were invited by the tech enthusiast and futurist Richard van Hooijdonk to participate to the Eisenwarenmesse 2018, which took place in the exhibition center of Koeln! This was yet another sweet opportunity to take our prototype for a ride and showcase our smart garden abroad. So I hopped into the car with our Mad Scientist, Federico, and we hit the road to Germany!

The Messe in itself was very interesting; a real mecca of hardware! From screws and screwdrivers,to 3D printers, anything a DIY maker could ever need was there! Presenting our smart garden to such an audience was definitely very interesting.

We were hosted in the start-up village, along with the 14 other start-up projects that were invited by Mr. van Hooijdonk. All projects were either about smart homes, or closely related to tinkering, and we all had the opportunity to pitch every day for 30 minutes.

We are looking forward to next year’s edition!
